Did you know that dental sealants are an effective way to prevent decay on the surfaces of teeth especially in the molars? We will most likely place dental sealants on your molars to stop cavities from forming and other kinds of decay that are harmful to your teeth.

Dental Sealants Q & A

What Are Dental Sealants?
Dental sealants are made from a thin coating that bonds to the grooves of your tooth so they can protect the enamel of your tooth that can be damaged from chewing.

Do I Need One?
If you practice good oral hygiene and also come in for regular dental checkups, you will prevent decay from happening. Although it doesn’t guarantee that decay won’t happen, if you have dental sealants placed on your teeth, your chances of having tooth decay decrease significantly.

How Can I Prevent Decay?
In order to prevent decay we reccommend routine dental visits. Please get in touch with our team if you’re interested in having dental sealants placed on your or your children’s teeth. We’d be happy to set up an appointment.
